Rachel Clay
DPT, CKTP, Certified Schroth Therapist, Clinic Founder
Rachel helps people with scoliosis and posture issues return to normal life without pain, feel better about their body image, prevent worsening of their curves, and avoid surgery using specialized exercise!
She understands the frustrations and confusion surrounding life with scoliosis - because she lives with it too!
Diagnosed with a mild curve as a teen, Rachel was told to watch and wait because the curve wasn’t bad enough to cause issues later in life … BUT IT DID.
As a professional dancer in college, she thought she had great posture and strength. However, as time went on she began to struggle with numbness and weakness in her right leg that no one could explain. Other than her scoliosis, her x-rays and MRIs were normal. Her physical therapy colleagues could not find a clear cause of her symptoms. She could not fix herself- and boy was that frustrating!
Then Rachel discovered THE SCHROTH METHOD and learned that a little scoliosis can make a big difference after all. Through the very specific exercises she implemented, she was able to solve the numbness and weakness in her right leg! She was able to control her posture and intermittent pain! She could even perform balance tasks in dance better!
>Scoliosis can be a scary diagnosis and the road to managing is not clearly paved. Rachel is passionate about being a guide for those who do not know what to do about their posture problem.
She wants kids and teens to have access to the exercises she did not, so they can thrive and minimize issues later in life.
She wants to give hope to adults that have been told, “There is nothing you can do except surgery,” or “Just live with it.”
>BECAUSE YOU CAN DO SOMETHING to take charge of your scoliosis and Rachel wants to show you how!

Jee Moon grew up in South Korea and after years of practicing and teaching yoga abroad while finding her own path, settled in St. Louis with her husband in 2010. She began focusing on yin yoga in particular shortly after. Jee has been teaching yoga in the St. Louis community ever since but has always made time for traveling and expanding her own education. Starting the Physical Therapy Assistant program at St. Louis Community College was less of a career pivot than an extension of her already existing tendency to seek out new skills and perspectives. She maintained her teaching practice throughout while accumulating experience in various out-patient rehab and skilled nursing facilities. In her free time, Jee is often drawing, walking dogs, climbing ropes, kickboxing, learning challenging new calisthenics or pole dancing techniques, trying new recipes, and spending time with her family.
